Osooro Land is the melting pot of Ikale tradition;
Being the home to one of the nine Ikale groups (Ikale mehan). Osooro is situated in the south western region
of Nigeria, about 200 kilometers east of Lagos, between Ijebu Ode, and Ore along the Lagos/Benin city express
way. Okitipupa a bustling city and Local Government headquarter for the region is about twenty
minutes drive from Osooro land.
Osooro is an amalgamation of many towns, villages
and hamlets namely: Ilutitun, Ijuodo, Igbotako, Erekiti, Ijuoke, Ilado, Agbetu, Abusoro, Akinfosile, Omotosho, Okeola, Ayetoro,
Idogun, Ago Lailo, Mile 4, Lobuko, Ilebe, Ago Taiwo, Ago Lailo.
Osooro`s neighbors to the east are the Edos (Benin,
Edo State), to the West are the Ijebus (Ogun State), the Ondos to the North and the Ilajes to the south (Ondo State).
Osooro is
surrounded by rolling hills and valleys with fresh springs and rivers that swell before emptying into the lagoon and
the Atlantic ocean. Blessed with natural resources (kaoline for natural paint and chalk, Butimen
for natural asphalt), palm plantations stretched across the land, evidence of aboundant natural resources and agriculture
the region can produce.

At present, The paramount king of Osooro is His
Royal Highness, Oba Shadrack Gbadebo Bajowa JP. Lubokun IV The Rebuja of Osooro. Other traditional rulers in Osooro include,
Oba Lorofun Of Ijuodo, Oba Majuwa of Ilutitun, Olu Oke of Ijuoke, and many Baales and Chiefs who are leaders of
smaller communities such as Agbetu, Abusoro, Lobuko, Ilebe etc..
