Osooro in the Okitipupa Local Government Area of Ondo State in Nigeria comprises of many large
towns, villages and hamlets. There are no telephone lines, although there is grid electricity, the power supply is infrequent
. Many communities in the region are without grid electricity.
The region is characterized by lack of infrastructure. There are six high schools with average
enrollment of about 800 students. There is no Post Secondary Institution in the Local Government Area thus youths have
to travel out of the region to attend higher institutions; they usually do not return to contribute to the local economy due
to high unemployment rate.
Our strategies are to encourage better standard in the delivery of primary education
and enlightening communities of the threat of pollution on local bioresources.
Economically empowering women farmers to collectively produce and market food.
Using technology to provide community services and infrastructure.
